Introduction of This Book
“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham” (Matthew 1:1).
The Gospel of Matthew introduces Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came to fulfill all the promises of the Old Testament.
I sincerely hope that through this book, you will come to know Jesus Christ, who “came by water and blood,” and thus receive “salvation by the remission of sins” (Luke 1:77), entering into eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
About the author
He was born in 1952. He majored in policy studies at Yonsei University in the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy and its graduate school, and served as a professor in the Department of Public Administration at Dongwoo College starting in 1981. While teaching, he also ministered as a faculty advisor for the IVF Christian student fellowship and led an urban community church.
In 1991, after being born again through the Gospel of the water and the blood, he received God's calling and began serving as a pastor and missionary in countries such as China, Russia, Bangladesh, and the United States. Since retiring, he has dedicated himself to literature ministry and discipleship training as the director of the Original Gospel Mission and Uijedang Press in Jeju, South Korea.
